Overview

Our event year runs September through early June with networking and educational opportunities that benefit all members — from the individual wanting to learn more about the nuts and bolts of charitable gift planning, to the veteran wishing to hone their skills with master class knowledge development opportunities.

A typical session begins with breakfast and networking at 8:30 a.m. followed by an educational session from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Event locations vary to best accommodate our state-wide membership.

Special events include webinars, networking events and our annual full-day conference held each spring.

Fees

The New Jersey Council of Charitable Gift Planners strives to provide educational and networking opportunities at an affordable level. Most events are run on a “break even” basis. General session fees are currently $35 for members and $45 for non-members. Special events and the annual conference vary. The Council is grateful for our many sponsors who help offset our expenses.

As a response to the pandemic, we are hosting virtual events online at no charge. A nominal $10 donation would help to keep these webinars free. Clicking the button will take you to the secure PayPal site to make a donation.

Scholarship

We welcome the opportunity to extend full scholarships to our general sessions and the annual conference. If your organization’s budget or personal circumstance doesn’t allow for educational expenses, please contact us at .

The Council is always open to new speakers and presentations related to the field of gift planning, general development, donor motivation, or personal growth, to name a few. For consideration, please submit whitepapers or a concept e-mail to .
